For the past few years, I’ve been honored to host barbecues for soldiers on my birthday. I grill all year round, but this birthday tradition is especially meaningful to me. Thanks to the Steven Mizal Foundation, I’m able to keep it going.

The Steven Mizal Foundation has been grilling for soldiers for over 10 years, serving nearly 200,000 troops during that time.

This year, we grilled for two units on the same base—one for lunch and one for dinner. It was eight hours of grilling, with a few well-earned breaks in between! 😊 The units were Lotar, the anti-terror unit, and Oketz, the canine unit. Since these are elite units, we weren’t allowed to take photos with the soldiers.
